Department of Posts has organised 7th Delhi State Level Philatelic Exhibition- Dharohar-2012 at National Science Centre in the national capital.
A three day exhibition will showcase diverse and rich cultural heritage of the country depicted on stamps.
Inaugurating the exhibition, Secretary Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Mrs Manjula Parasar said that the exhibition will help spreading awareness among the people about conservation of monuments and cultural heritages as well as promote philately among children.
Special Covers on National Science Centre and Dilli Haat have also been released to mark the occasion.
Numerous other activities have also been planned during “Dharohar-2012” for the school children.
These include workshop on Astronomy for kids, Workshop on Films and Philately, Painting competition, Quiz and Magic Show.
