Scientifically built e-waste management system would be set up in Electronics City, Whitefield and Bommasandra, following the recent Supreme Court verdict on e-waste management.
The solid waste management facility is a joint venture of the Waste Wise Trust and the Electronic City Industries Association (ElCIA). The facility is expecting to receive dry recyclable materials on a daily basis from its associated companies. The obsolete items will be then sorted into paper, plastic, glass and metals.
