Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 4 pm on the issue of reported ban on Bhagwat Geeta in Russia.
The Lok Sabha was first adjourned on the reported ban on Bhagwat Geeta in Russia. The issue was raised in the House by Bhartru Hari Mehtab of the Biju Janta Dal who expressed anguish over the reported judgement of a Russian court. He sought the revocation of ban on the issue. Mr. Lalu Prasad of RJD also joined him raising their pitch. This led to the adjournment of the House as some more members joined the chorus.
