- The Public Sector undertaking, Steel Authority of India Limited has provided employment to over 27 thousand people under the displaced persons category at its steel plants and limestone mines. Out of this, 16 thousand jobs have been provided by Bokaro Steel Plant itself which is already more than the number of families displaced at the time of setting up of the plant.
