  • The telephone number will be 1950, the year the election panel was born.

  • Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Quraishi said every poll going state shall have a complaint redressal mechanism based on website and call centre. The telephone number will be toll free.

  • Complainants will get to know about the action taken on SMS and from the call centre.
