Pakistan and Sri Lanka have signed three agreements to promote cooperation in trade‚ technical education and media.
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and the visiting Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa witnessed the signing ceremony in Islamabad today on Feb 11.
Under the agreements, they will step up exchange of news stories‚ special programme and important publications through radio‚ television‚ news agencies and information establishments.
Pakistan will extend a credit of $200 million dollars to Sri Lanka for improving its exports. They will also step up cooperation in technical training in different fields.
