The election results would be out on March 6, the election commision model code of conduct will be operational till March 9.
With Holi falling on March 8, the second week of March looks suitable for MPs to pour into the capital.
The government will have to take a call on bringing up the controversial anti-corruption Lokpal bill which could not be passed in the Rajya Sabha during the winter session last year.
The general budget will be preceded by the railway budget and the economis survey.
