Jharkhand to issue ID cards to migrating workers

• Jharkhand government will issue identity cards to those migrating to places like Delhi, Mumbai, Gujrat, Punjab and Haryana.
  
  
• The ID card will have all relevant information like the address of the migrating worker and the agency which takes them out. 
  
  
• There would be emergency phone numbers of the Deputy Commissioner of the relevant district for emergency purpose.
  
  
• The decision has been taken by the State Labour Employment and Training Department.
  
  
•  The scheme comes into effect from2012.
  
  
• The decision has been taken to check human trafficking.
