- The 10th International Conference on Globalisation and Cultural Practices in Mountains began in Gangtok today. It has been organised by the Sikkim University in collaboration with the Japan Foundation.
- Experts from USA, Japan, Banlgdesh and Nepal too are attending the two day Conference.
