• India and Canada have agreed to fast track the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two nations. The decision was taken after the meeting between the Commerce Minister Anand Sharma and his Canadian counterpart Ed Fast at World Economic Forum at Davos. 
  • An official release said that a CEO forum will be formed and will meet for the first time when Sharma visits Canada in May-June this year. The negotiators on the Comprehensive Agreement from both the countries will be meeting in February. Both the leaders reviewed the bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction over the deepening economic ties.
