- Arab League has asked for an immediate halt to the gunfire in Syria.
- Addressing a Press Conference in Cairo, the League chief Nabil al-Araby said snipers and gunfire remain in Syrian cities.
- He also informed that the Syrian regime withdrew heavy weapons from cities and freed 3,484 prisoners.
- The head of the observer mission, Sudanese General Mohammed Ahmed Mustafa al-Dabi will be sending his first report in the next two days on the situation in Syria.
