• A California teenager has become the youngest person to successfully climb to the summit of the seven tallest mountains on Earth's seven continents. 

  • Fifteen-year-old Jordan Romero's mother, Leigh Ann Drake, has confirmed her son called her after he reached the top of Mt Vinson Massif in Antarctica. 

  • The teen beat the record previously held by 16-year-old British climber George Atkinson.

  • At age 10, Romero climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, and at age 13 he climbed Mt Everest in Asia.
