Government says that 1300 Megawatt of Solar Power will be generated under Jawahar Lal Nehru Solar mission in the country. Inaugurating a programme to promote Research and Produce Quality man power in the field of Solar Energy in New Delhi the Minister of New and Renewable energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that the target of producing 20,000 megawatt of solar power under the mission will be achieved in three phases by 2022.
