The Department of Posts in Jammu and Kashmir is contemplating bringing out stamps on all the 24 world heritage sites in India as listed by Unesco.
This was disclosed by Chief Post Master General Jammu and Kashmir Circle John Samuel at the inauguration of a four-day Philatelic Exhibition and Post Office Festival ‘Jammu Stamp Show 2011' in Jammu on Wednesday. The focus of the festival is on heritage.
