- Union Minster for Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah has said India’s National Solar Energy Mission will achieve its target to add 20,000 megawatts of power by 2022. Talking to AIR in Abu Dhabi, the minister said the mission would be accomplished in different phases.
- Earlier, addressing the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Abdullah called upon the international community to harness the alternative forms of energy for the benefit of the people.
